Have you read our homepage? Checked out the reviews on Google? Was Karl recommended by your trusted bike dealer and are two of your friends already on board? Too good to be true? What's the catch? Who are they anyway?

Got questions? Karl's got the answers.

Karl, what’s that?

Your Responsibilities

  • When, where, and how should I secure my bike?

What should I do if the premium can't be debited?

If we can't debit the first monthly premium when signing up on our homepage or at our Karl partners, you won't receive an insurance policy and the insurance won't be activated.

If later on your card expires, is stolen or lost, your account is not covered, or for any other reason we can't collect the premium, you'll receive an email from us with an individual link where you can change the payment method. If we can debit on the next attempt (we always try automatically), you won't receive another email. If it still doesn't work, you'll get another email from us.

If we can't collect a premium for more than 14 days, the insurance with Karl automatically ends. You'll receive a notification from us that the contract is terminated and no insurance coverage exists anymore. Even without this notification, there is no insurance coverage anymore and we won't collect any further premiums from you.
