  • Working front and rear brakes
  • Clearly audible bell
  • White front light and red rear light (flashing or steady)
  • Yellow reflectors on the pedals or four mounted reflectors

Personal requirements

  • Blood alcohol content below 0.8 per mille (0.4 mg/l breath)
  • Children under 12 years only under supervision of a person at least 16 years old
  • Solo riding allowed from age 12
  • Allowed from age 10 with bicycle license
  • Helmet mandatory for children under 12
