How does it work
our claim reporting

Report a claim now
  1. 1. Incident

    In case of theft or vandalism, please go directly to the police. If the theft report takes longer, still report it to us as soon as possible.

  2. 2. Claim report

    In your Karl login on our website. The claim report should be made within 72 hours of becoming aware of the damage.

  3. 3. Claim processing

    Our system has received your report and we are processing it. If you uploaded photos to document your damage, we can be even faster. This usually takes only a few hours.

  4. 4. Claim approval

    We will inform you by email or call about your approval. Your compensation limit is based on your current insurance sum.

  5. 5. Bike dealer

    You can go to the bike dealer to choose a new bike or get repairs. In case of a total loss, you'll get the same model or you can pay extra for a higher-quality one.

  6. 6. Claim payment

    If the dealer is one of our partners, we handle the payment directly with them. If you've paid upfront, we'll transfer the claim amount to you.
