Our principle is: You should behave as if you were not insured. We do not make specific rules about where and how you must secure your bicycle or e-bike (except that you use a lock of the category "ABUS 6" or higher, or an equivalent lock of another brand). You can attach your bicycle or e-bike to a bicycle rack, a fence, or another fixed object. Simply locking the bicycle or e-bike on its own may sometimes not be enough. However, there is no fixed rule here ... so just use your common sense. As long as you feel good about how you leave your bicycle or e-bike, nothing can go wrong on the insurance side.
