Your bike must be locked with a suitable lock to a fixed, immovable object (e.g. a bike rack or lamppost) so that it can't simply be carried away.

Make sure that:

• the lock encloses the frame and ideally also a wheel,
• the object is firmly anchored and can't be easily removed or dismantled.
