When am I insured?
As soon as you receive an email from us with your policy, the insurance is active. If you conclude the policy on site with one of our Karl partners, you usually have the email in your inbox before you've even rolled out of the shop with your new bicycle or e-bike. So, you are even insured on your way home. If you have made a typo in your email address, or if something does not work out with the payment because, for example, the credit card number was entered incorrectly, you will not receive a policy and we will alert you that something obviously went wrong. So, as soon as you have a policy, you know that everything has worked out and your bicycle or e-bike is already insured.
