What is not insured with Karl?
In our Insurance Terms, we have listed everything that is not insured under section 3.12. This mainly includes all damages that occur slowly and over a longer period of time. Here's an example: Your bike that rusts away over months in wind and weather is not insured/Your bike that gets damaged in a hailstorm is indeed insured with Karl. Anything that is covered by the manufacturer's warranty is also not insured. For example, a defective battery of your e-bike from the outset. Damages that occur while your bicycle or e-bike is being repaired or modified are also not insured. Any damage that occurs in this case is usually covered by the workshop's insurance. Damages that you cause to someone else with your bicycle or e-bike are also not insured by Karl, but by a liability insurance, if you have one. If you have any questions or if you would like to have one or the other point explained again using examples, feel free to send us an email at hallo@karlbikes.com.
