When concluding on the homepage or at our Karl partners on site, you can choose your desired payment method. Payment is made either by credit card or bank account by direct debit. Most cards should work, but it happens that a certain credit card is not accepted by our partner Stripe - they handle the debits. Then the premium must be debited from your account to guarantee insurance coverage.

If your card expires, is stolen or lost, your account is not currently covered, or we cannot collect the premium for any other reason, you will receive an email from us with an individual link under which you can then change the payment method.
