Does Karl have a deductible?
Karl does not have a deductible. The maximum amount you receive in the event of a claim decreases year by year. In the first year after conclusion, you receive 100% of the insurance value in the policy, in the second year after conclusion, you receive 80% of the insurance value in the policy, and from the third year after conclusion, you receive 70% of the insurance value in the policy. However, this only applies to total loss cases.
For example, if you damage your fork in a fall in the third year after conclusion and it needs to be replaced, you will receive the full value replaced. The same applies to all partial damages. Up to the maximum amount (depending on the year of the damage, therefore 100%/80%/70% of the insurance value in the policy), all damages are fully covered by Karl.
