What should I pay attention to when reporting a claim?
If you report the damage via our homepage, you will be asked everything we need to know in the damage form in order to process the damage quickly for you. Just upload the documents and you'll be back in the saddle soon. If you prefer to send us an email, you can also transmit the information to us in this way. We need from you complete (as long as necessary, as short as possible) details about the damage. What happened when and where? Also, if possible, please give a first estimate of whether a repair is sensible and whether you have already obtained a cost estimate.
In order to process a theft claim for you, we need a police theft report and the report to us within 72 hours. If your bicycle or e-bike is stolen abroad, it can be cumbersome to get a police report. Therefore, if this is not possible or does not seem sensible, it is sufficient to make the report by email to us and then to catch up on the theft report as soon as you are back home. If you claim costs for the return/continuation journey, you must prove the costs incurred to us by means of an invoice or other receipts so that we can reimburse them to you.
