To process a theft claim for you, we need a police theft report and the report to us within 72 hours. If your bicycle or e-bike is stolen abroad, it can be difficult to obtain a police report. Therefore, if this is not possible or does not seem sensible, it is sufficient to report the theft to us by email and then possibly follow up with the theft report once you are back home. If you are claiming costs for the return/continuation of your journey, you must provide us with the incurred costs by means of an invoice or other proof so that we can reimburse you.
