Setup
Karl is live in your store in a few steps. We handle access and go-live.
1.Request your install link
Let us know you want to offer Karl. We create an install link for your store. The link is issued for your store, not a public URL.
2.Install the app
Open the link and approve the installation in your Shopify store. Karl reads products and orders and adds a product attribute for insurability.
3.Mark bikes as insurable
Set the karl.insurable metafield to true on the products you want to cover. Namespace and key must be exactly karl.insurable. The card only appears on marked products.
4.Place the blocks
Add the Karl Insurance block to the product page (theme editor) and the Thank-You block to the checkout (checkout editor).
5.Go live
Once your products are marked and the blocks are placed, let us know. We switch your store live, and orders with insurance start receiving the activation email.
